Evangelus is a Catholic communications software designed to help parish staff, who are often overworked, communicate more efficiently. With Evangelus, users can send emails, update their app, post to social media, and add content to their website.

The logo for Evangelus incorporates a speech bubble, which immediately conveys the communication function of the product.
The angel wing is a key element, drawing from the name Evangelus, which evokes the Angelus. Angels are often seen as messengers or heralds of divine communication, so the wing subtly ties the brand to the idea of delivering messages. Furthermore, The feathers of the wing are designed to form the letter "E."

The goal of this project was to inject personality and energy into the software, which can often feel dry and mundane. We aimed to bring a sense of fun and humor to the brand, making it more engaging and approachable for users. This playful tone is evident in the series of animations I created, which were integrated directly into the software to enhance the user experience.

In addition to these animations, I was tasked with creating marketing materials to sell the product. The parent company’s brand is neutral and understated, so my challenge was to create a distinct brand naturally associated with the existing brand while standing out as its own unique product. To achieve this, I created a visual identity for the software that kept the overall tone in line with the parent company, but also injected personality and excitement into the branding. The result is a fun and engaging software brand that feels fresh, approachable, and aligned with the product's intended experience.
